350 V8 in a Zuk, project pic\'s

Here is a project that a friend is doing. He has a 87 Samurai with 33's (going up to 36's or 38's) going to have Dana 44's under it, Suspension is going to be a big one (can't tell ya just yet), a 350 Chevy V8, 350 turbo trans, and the t-case is still in the works. Here is the first steps that we took to get the engine in the little monster.
He cut the old engine mounts off the zuk, has some new ones made (not in pic's yet), cut the trans. and t-case crossmembers off, had to take a BFH (big [email protected]#$ing hammer) to the bottom fire wall and trans tunnel so the trans would fit, and had the 350 rebuilt. We put the engine in the zuk last night and it fit like a charm, just a little bit too long (about 2.5"), but we can make more room to slide the engine and trans back. The water pump in the pic's is a short one, I think off a vett? Well, I'll be taking more pic's as the project cont. on and will update you with them. Enjoy the pic's and ask me any questions, I'll answer for him since he has no time to check the bbs.
Please excuse the pic's, they are from my crappy digi cam and that is about the best I can do for now!

Yeah, BB he is the guy that has your engine! He also has a great deal to make with you! I'll e-mail ya the details, don't want to talk about it here. Anyways, he is planning on going to Uwharrie this Oct. If I don't get my 4.3L engine in by then, he said he would pull my old Zuk (the one that I took to Uharrie last April) We all should have a great time! Can't wait! The project should be done with in the month! Till then...
