hard to shift

hey all,
i haven't driven my sami much lately, but i drove it yesterday and found a little issue. when i was sitting in traffic it was running a little warmer than usual (just under half way up the gauge) and when it was running at that temp it was really tough to put in gear kinda like the clutch wasn't disengaging all the way. once traffic started flowing again, and it was running back to normal operating temp it was shifting fine. Does anyone know what would cause this??

Re: hard to shift

Double clutch it, it helps lots with my zook, especially with first gear... The speed limiter thing that prevents 1st gear is a pain in the a%%...

got zook?

Re: hard to shift

i had the same thing happen to me last year. i just adjusted the clutch and it fixed the problem. my fathers zuk did the same thing to him the other day. i am ssure its just an improperly adjusted clutch.

build it, break it, then build it better.

Re: hard to shift

When you push the clutch in to shift out of gear, clutch it, release, then clutch it again to put it into gear. Clutch in for shifting out of gear, remove gear, clutch out, clutch in, clutch out, clutch in, gear in, drive . That dam 1st gear limiter thing, I have no idea how it works, if you're rolling like .000004 mph it will not let you shift into first gear, granted it would be kinna bad to shift into 1st gear @ 40mph.... I only have to double clutch it when she is cold. After it warms up a little, it is very easy to shift..
