chevy luv motor update!

as some of ya know, i'm puttting a chevy luv motor/ auto tranny in my zook. (it's a isuzu 1.8) anyway, its a lot of work but i'm in to deep to quit. the auto tranny causes alot of problems. it's long and wide. had to do a 2" body lift and trans tunnel needs to be modified to be wider still. i bolted the tranny to the t-case with 1 u-bolt but the front of the motor is still about 2" too far forward to accomodate the front clip, luckily i'm not running a front cli. only the hood like spidertrax ot shaffer's rig so it's not a big problem. now to the good news, it's in it's final resting place, i located a header fer it, and i'll have around 95 to 100 hp, auto tranny, and no computer. i'll post pics soon. the point is, i would not attempt this swap on a daily driver but it works for me. sorry bout the lenghty post but several people inquired as to whether this is a good swap. maybe with a stock standard luv tranny it would be better.

p.s. tech question: anyone know who i would contact about modifying the trans pan a little for additional driveshaft clearance???

87 sammy project in the works. getting chevy luv motor/ato tranny this week. lots o mods coming soon. i'll pst pics on em.
