not worth what it would cost you to ahve it shipped man. you can go to local bone yard n pick up a unit for that price or maybe a lil more dependin on milage etc. shoot, if you watch close, can buy a whole runnin car just as cheep.

just make sure that it is indeed a c4, if you are wanting to do the shortshaft conversion. the c4 and c5 look similar and the c5 isn't as easy to shorten.

Re: cali ford v6??

I had an engine shipped to me in VA from OR for about $250. However, it was a 4 cyl - aluminum w/out a tranny. I think engines have to be completely crated and will require the shipper to do some work or have it done most likely at your expense.

I'll be back.

Re: cali ford v6??

heck of a deal???? i'm in dallas,tx and the local public auction i go to has these whole cars for $400 and less all the time. you're gonna need other parts off the same car. driveshaft, radiator, tranny lines, accesories, etc etc. i would try to get a whole car if i was you. bronco 2's 2wd seem to go really cheap and have the 2.9 with more hp and a c- 4 i think. find a local charity auction near you and check it out ( the ones where people donate cars for tax write-offs are the best). hope this helps.

87 sammy project in the works. getting chevy luv motor/ato tranny this week. lots o mods coming soon. i'll pst pics on em.
