Parts for sale at melt...

Since I guess I'm towin' my Sami out. I'll be bringing some extra parts with me to help recoup the cost of the truck and dolly...

T-case (small flange) VERY CLEAN! $150.00 (thanks to Zukinator!)
Transmission (no idea the condition - pulled from wreck) $150.00
Windshield Frame (with usable windshield - no wiper blades, arms nor wiper motor, minor rust) $70.00
Ugly Windshield Frame that's been beat on where the arms come from the targa bar to the W/S frame (usable glass, no rust) $40.00
4 Stock Chrome Rims (with OK tires, BF Goodrich Touring) $70.00
Door Glass or internal door components - email me with needs
Rear Axle (Complete) $100.00
Front Axle (no brake components) $75.00

If you are looking for other parts let me know. I'm gettin' rid of the pile...

Anyone got a spare set of rear springs they want to part with?

Re: Parts for sale at melt...

It's an 86 or 87 I'm not sure. I was gonna rebuild it before I installed it since I could not confirm it's operability (just in case it needed it) but decided to go with a tranny that had a taller 5th that I knew was good.

Are you headed out to the melt?

Re: Parts for sale at melt...

I see. Is it the pre '90 tranny's that have a lower 5th?

Not heading out this year. I should be ordering a hitch and tow bar by the end of the month. $ is a little short for a long haul. --- I am hoping to make it to Paragon if there are any plans for a Fall run - or even next year.

I'll be back.

Re: Parts for sale at melt...

I thought it was post 88.5 that had the taller 5th. I'm pretty negotiable on it since I know nothing about it. It's just sitting here taking up space. I have a line on a whole 88.5 convert. for around $150.00 up here but you'd need to tow it home as it is dead where it sits. It's a mess but complete. If you get it for the tranny let me know. there are a set of running boards on it I'm sure you wouldn't want...

BTW, Did you get the T-case in OK? How's it working out?

Re: Parts for sale at melt...

O.K. That would make sense - (post 88.5). Which is what I would be looking for. I would love to pick up a extra tranny to rebuild but I don't have any where to put a parts truck right now. Thanks though.

I haven't put the T-case in yet. Work has had be covered up for the past couple of months. However, I did order a shifter sheet from NCO (just did it tonight) for it and plan on getting it put in the next two weeks. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'll be back.

Re: Parts for sale at melt...

If you want that transmission out of the 88.5, buy it then get it towed to my house. I'll pull the tranny and T-case out for you and keep the rest for services rendered? You can easily keep the second T-case around for a spare or sell it to someone here or on ebay and get most of your money back. The later (large flanged) t-cases are harder to come by.

I know a towing place that'll tow it for $40.00 and I might be able to get the guy to sell the whole thing for $100.00.

Just a thought...
