Calmini Tow Bar

Anyone know if the Calmini tow bar can only be used with the S/R? Can it be used with other vehicles?

I am getting ready to buy a tow bar but I haven't ever been close to one that is hooked up -- do they typically connect to the bumper somewhere? Does the Calmini connect to the shackles in some way? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I'll be back.

Re: Calmini Tow Bar

The Calmini tow bar can be used independantly of a S/R as long as it can bolt into the holes in the frame horn where the old little tie down brackets were at. I run this on mine with 7.5" of SPOA lift. It is a nice piece, and we have sold several of them and never any complaints.

Re: Calmini Tow Bar

Tim,

I'm not familiar with how a lot of the aftermarket bumpers bolt on. Do you know if it will limit my bumper choices?
