This is just a little poll for us small car guys. I dont have any extra cash myself, just curious to see the results.

If you found some extra cash and could buy a 2nd car for yourself just as a weekend driver/fun toy. Which of the following would you choose and if so why?

Most likely the MR2. The 914 as a second choice (since it's basically a VW, it will be easy to work on).

I'd have to go with the X-90. Since I already have a 97 I know how fun it is to drive. And since mechanically it is just a Sidekick anyway, it can be built up using Kick lift kits. There is a guy on the X90 BBS that has lifted his and put 30x12.50s on it! It is SWEEEEET! Plus, I just like the fact that it such a unique vehicle.

I wouldn't buy any that was on that list..I would buy a sidekick its small and gets some pretty good mpg.Plus when it was time to go off-road just lock it in and go.Take Care

i wouldnt get any of those, mainly b/c well, its not that much fun when you have to fix them more than you drive em.

Id get some sorta old muscle/pony car and do all the stuff youd like to. plus im sure id be easier to find parts than those you have listed. MHO

That is a gross generalization if I ever heard one.[img]/wwwthreads_images/icons/tongue.gif[/img] Gotta defend my X here. It is basically a Sidekick with different sheet metal on the outside. I have had mine for just under 4 years now (bought it new in 97) and have never had any problem with it. I don't understand why you would lump it in with "hav[ing] to fix em more than you drive em." Obviously, you have never had any experience with one. The only thing I have had to take it in for was the regular maintenance. And I have never had any problems finding OEM or aftermarket parts (Lift Kits, Fender Flares, etc.) for it. I don't understand why just because it looks different everybody immediately assumes the worst about it.
