exhaust

Well I just put a header with the same cherry bomb turbo II
muffler on it! We ran a 4 foot pipt right off of the header and then to the bomb! No more pipe is after this! should I run it out the side...try to get it to lay out to the back...stop being so cheap and get a flowmaster... Cause I love the sound it makes but it stops right under the cabin so I was thinking I should run it out the back!!

" Go Cheap n' Smooth or Forget about it!"

Thanx

Re: exhaust

Yes! Run it out the side per stock (or in front of the left-rear wheel)!

You won't get the stench of the exhaust and the throaty sound will continue. Mine is plenty loud and growly this way with a flow-thru and a Cat. Yours will, most likely, be even louder! I get heads turning - mostly from kids with souped up Hondas and Nissans.

Re: exhaust

hell yah more power to the bomb brother!! yeah I never had any idea how it would sound until I put a good header on it and now I love it, it does sound like those souped up honda that I used to make remarks at but now I love it! But I do not want the sound right under the cabin so if I did run it out the side would it help or should I just run it out the back??!!

Re: exhaust

Don't run it straight out the back as the exhaust gasses will get caught in the dead space behind your sammy at speed (or just hang there at a crawl) and then get sucked into the "cabin".

When you run it out the side, the exhaust gets directly mixed with the air flowing by and does not get in where you are inside your Sammy.

Try it, you'll Like It!

Re: exhaust

GOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had the same problem my problem was that I had a manifold that was blowing donuts as fast as you could eat one so I put a header on it and finally got to actually listen to it and man I love the cherry bomb turbo2 exhaust system!

Re: exhaust

Did you have to do anything to the header to get it to fit?

Re: exhaust

No and in fact no welding either I just went and got a pice that fit snug on the reducer and snug on the 2 1/4 " piping and used that yah it does not look professional cause there are clamps everywhere but I do not care about the way it looks but the way it performs!

Re: exhaust

If you paint the exhaust pipe and muffler (from the muffler back) with that 500 degree black engine paint it looks real slick! I've painted the muffler on mine, looks real cool, burns fer about an hour though, but looks cool afterwards. Good ole 12 dollar muffler! ehhehehe, when I let off the gas or rev the engine, it'll backfire and flames shoot out of the muffler pipe!!! IT LOOKS SOOO AWESOME at night! I am afraid I'll set some grass on fire on the trails though. DOH!

got zook?
