Tracker vs Sidekick Diffs

Are the diffs on a tracker and sidekick the same for all production years?

I called a bone yard and they insisted that they were not the same according
to some parts book. Could a bone yard be right ?

Re: Tracker vs Sidekick Diffs

The tracker and sidekick diffs are the same until you get to 96 then they have a higher spline count which make them better for wheeling, but i dont know if they can be swapped into a sammi. The only other difference is generally one from a automatic has 4.62 and a stick has 5.12's for the count.

Re: Tracker vs Sidekick Diffs

that makes no sense cause the 5.12's should be in the zuto and the 4.62's in the stick!
