1.6 16v install questions

Found a rolled '95 Tracker with a 1.6 16v in it and need some advice. For a price, the owner said that I could take whatever I needed off the tracker. Besides the engine, wire harness, fuel pump, and ECM, is there anything else I should remove for the install into my '87 jx? (Never mind the seats cause the interior is shot) And, the Thorley's seem to be the best header for Zuk's, so will Thorleys work on a 1.6 16v with EFI? Finally, short of firing it up, how do I tell if the motor is any good?

Fire it up, and make sure she is sound! Being a roll over, you should be OK. If it is a 2wd tracker, then grab the tranny too! The Thorely will not fit the 16 valve, but the stock manifold is actually not that bad. For more information I suggest you call Brent at Trail Tough as he is the expert on this swap.

I run the 1600 16v and it's the cats ass. Grab the tranny, engine, diffs and the power steering unit . If you don't use them you can always sell them. Brent at www.trailtough.com
does the wiring harness and speed sensor for $450+shipping. With the wiring harness it's a 6 wire interface and mont the ECM under the dash.
