roadless gear??

Looking at ordering from roadless gear. Anyone have experience with this vendor? I dont want to place my order and then have to wait 2-3 mo's for it as I did with one vendor. Not looking to start a bashing post, just have not ordered from them nor have i seen any posts about them. Thx

Re: roadless gear??

Roadless is a quality vendor. He stands behind his products and will do whatever he can to help you out. Figmo (the owner) is a frequenter of the Topica list, he also runs the FARC which is located on his site. The FARC catches all emails from several Zuki list (not this one anymore because of some legal technicalities with ORC) and makes a searchable database. It also has a link grabber that makes a searchable database of all links posted in those lists. He works hard to help fellow zukers get parts at a reasonalbe price.
Hope that helps,

Re: roadless gear??

If its an off the shelf item like a locker, pitman arm, brake lines, etc, etc, etc.... any vendor can typically ship right away.

If it is a custom, specialty item, or a manufacturer has a backorder going, you'll have a wait from ALL the vendors on one part or another.

Bill from Roadless is a good guy though. We've done business with him before and I wouldn't have trouble recommending him.

Re: roadless gear??

I've ordered some stuff (door disconnects, thumb throttle, DaveSport cage) from Figmo and was very happy with the service. The stuff that he has on hand was shipped out immediately. I think I got it a few days after ordering. The cage took a bit longer since Dave had to make it first.

I will have no second thoughts ordering from him again.
