rear main

Hi Guy's need to change rear main seal. Is this a major tear down? I know I need to pull trans. putting in new clutch while its a part. All your help is greatly appreicated. Thanks Bill

no its not that hard if you just replace the seal i pulled my tranny out last fri rebuilt the tranny(syncros and bearings) removed the oil pan rerplaced the rear main seal and pan gasket in staled a dual fric clutch put it all back and was finished in time to drive it home of course i did use my shop lift and air its kind of like cheating

I wouldn't trade my Sammy for anything when it comes to replacing the rear main. Wait a minute... I wouldn't trade it for anything come to think of it.
