Oil Light blinks while idling

Have 38 miles on my new engine.

Tonight, I noticed that the oil pressure light blinks a little when the engine is idling at around 800 RPM. I spotted it because I was driving at night...

No oil leaks, the oil is clear and at the proper level on the dipstick.

The pressure sender is off the rebuilt block and it's history is unknown. I have the sender from my original engine which worked when I took it out.

Any comments (besides the obvious "swap senders")?

BTW, 65 bucks later and I have a rebuilt alternator with new bearing, brushes, regulator!

Check for loose connections, oil pressure switch (sender).
