$200 part truck is now the woman\'s rig!

A little while back there was a posting of a $300 parts truck in CT.

I got it for $200 last weekend.

I get it home. A '88 HT with some rust. Recently painted Pumpkin orange. All in all it's in decent shape.

But now the lil' lady wants it 'cuz it's a hardtop. She's expecting me to lift it too. So much for more parts.

Cool That is one of the smartest things you could do dude.
Shannon was steamed at getting stuck in camp in the 'Gone...
(Remember I got back first? I kind of talked her down from chopping you to bits..) Toss the shackle reverse on it and some 30" tires and let her have at!

Hmmm...I promised Crow first dibs on the S/R.

Maybe just the springs and shackles will be good for her. Sqeek in 31's and some 4.62's.

Either that or an easier riding option would be cj springs in back and the rears up front, Spring under, Should have some lift and will ride alot better. I plan on doing that to
my white stocker.(And eventually the wife's truck too.) The lifted springs are kind of stiff. (or pull a leaf..)

Dude that is great cause at least she wont be complaining about wanting a newride cause your defense will be,"you have one already!" I think it is pretty cool!

Re: $200 part truck is now the woman\'s rig!

Will the rears up front and cj fronts in the back work with a calmini s/r? I have all of this stuff laying around and am about to put my old sami back into running shape for my woman with 30 m/t's.

Glenn,

You're assuming that I want het to have a "soft" ride.

Re: $200 part truck is now the woman\'s rig!

$200!!!??? Wish I could find a deal like that around here. Most of the ones I have seen locally have been $2k or better. Some hitting $4K for a decent one. It's crazy...glad I already have one but I wouldn't mind having another

I'll have to keep my wife away from you guys. The next thing you know she'll want one too....LOL. That's great Tim. Hope to see you two on the trail soon.
