Quick exhaust opinion.......

Having a new 2" exhaust put on tomorrow. My home grown will not fit with the new Hardcore skid plate and I am tired of fighting with it.. Any problems with turning the exhaust down under the Zuk or is it better to run it out the back?

Re: Quick exhaust opinion.......

I use a cherry bomb that cuts off about half way (i would say a 4 foot pipe) and the only times I smell fumes is when I am going in reverse!

Re: Quick exhaust opinion.......

I've got one of those cherry bomb turbo II mufflers on my zook. I've got it exiting in the center of the truck. I've got fume problems at all speeds. I need to change this pretty soon. I think midas quoted me 70.00 for a complete install. I definatly reccomend taking the exhaust all the way out of the truck. At first I did not have a down firing extention on the pipe, the fumes were real bad then, but I've got a down firing thinggie on it now and it is ok ish. still, go for a complete 2" system using the stock route. my .02

got zook?

Re: Quick exhaust opinion.......

Thanks for the input. Exiting under the truck and fumes were my main concern, I had it ran out the back.
