might be of some interestf or you all. I'll be making a template to suit the front end of the 85 sami so that a flame paint job can be done. I'll post pics as soon as I have the template made. should be a week or two.

Re: COOL SAMMY STICKERS

Boy, that sounds awfully high for some windshield decals. Just about any sign shop in my area will make up about anything you want for a windshield banner for about $20. With a computer and vinyl sign machine, they can do about anything with a few key strokes. There's nothing magic about it, and the competition is pretty high in that market. Maybe there's more to this decal than I understand, and that's the reason it's so expensive.

Re: COOL SAMMY STICKERS

Be careful with the restricted, trademarked, and copyrighted name, JEEP.

I know it sounds stupid, but I looked into something similar, only I wanted it to say: "It's a Jeep Thing, BUILD one, then you'll understand!". Only problem is that you need a letter from Diamler Chrysler allowing the use of their name, in any way, shape, or form. I have a friend in the business, and he even said he needed one, because companies are just looking for lawsuits like this. McDonalds and Wendy's have several out now, on small printing shops as well.

Just wouldn't want anyone to get burned from something so minor. My plan is to have it made, but without the "Jeep", then I'll buy the letters separately and add them myself. That way it releases the printing company from any liability since they had nothing to do with it.

Re: COOL SAMMY STICKERS

maybe i will ad a disclaimer in small print. " were glad that jeep is a registered trademark of the chrysler corp" any way how many stickers have you seen with a guy pissing on a chevy or ford emblem with no problems? hey, heeeey, that gives me another idea for a rear sticker!!!

Re: COOL SAMMY STICKERS

ok, i talk to my buddy and if i can get 10 at a time i can get em for $30 each plus shipping. also thinking about 2 more ideas. for BOTH sides of the hood " 63 HP " or " 66 HP " FOR INJECTED SAMMY'S THESE WOULD BE $20 FOR BOTH. AND FOR THE REAR " I'LL PULL YOU OUT, AND I WON'T TELL YOUR BUDDIES " FOR $30 OR ALL 3 FOR $70
LEMME KNOW GUYS. ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS WELCOME!

Re: COOL SAMMY STICKERS

The carbureted Samurais were rated at 63hp, while the fuel injected ones were rated at 66hp.

Here the same slap just worded a different way to avoid the copyright laws.
"YOUR RIGHT, I don't understand!"
That has always been my thought.
And have you seen that Isuzu commercial where Joe is ragging the guy next to him in a jeep. It's classic.
