Michigan - Body minus motor/tranny

I'm looking for a Samurai that has a motor blown or removed so that I could buy the remains. I live in Michigan.

Mine is rusted beyond hope. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks

What are you looking for? frame, body, misc.
I live 20 miles west of lansing (portland) and may be able to work with you on some stuff. Let me know or give me a private message.

EckZuk:

I was originally looking for an entire body/frame etc. (everything minus motor and tranny).

But I would certainly consider an entire back half or at the very least the entire rear quarters and fenderwells.

Thanks!

I have a body/tub but it sounds like yours is in the same condition. I might be able to get my hands on a two wheel drive 1.3 w/70k on it. Not sure what year or condition but I am looking into it. I think I could get it for about $500. Let me know if you are interested.

Re: Michigan - Body minus motor/tranny

When you say 2wd, do you still mean a Samurai? I didn't know that Suzuki made the Sammie in 2wd (I am, by no means, an expert). Anyway, if it is a Samurai, and the body is in good shape (again, I don't care about the engine or tranny) I am interested. Unless these (2wd Samurai) are unable to convert to 4wd (i.e. swap my drivetrain into the 2wd). Let me know.

Thanks!

Re: Michigan - Body minus motor/tranny

Yeah there were a few later model 2wd Samurais and they are very easy to convert if you have the parts. I have a '93 that was 2wd when I bought it last fall. Around here having 2WD was a bigger bargaining chip than if the motor had a rod knocking. Nobody wanted this one and it was like new. It would have sold the day it hit the classifieds if it had been 4wd.
