What shocks?

I'm going to buy new shocks and wanted to know if any one is running Doetsch Tech's 3000 or 8000. Ar they any good? Is the longest 29.5"?
No Rancho's 9000 for me, not that rich!

Any other ideas for shocks?
Share with me..

Re: What shocks?

I'm running Monroe shocks on the front and DT 3000's on the rear.
I like the ride of the 3000's. It's a well built shock. My front Monroes ride better(softer) than the DT's but I don't expect the Monroes to last very long.
I don't know how the 8000's compare to the 3000's as far as ride quality. I know that the 8000's have the cool built in bumpstop.

Re: What shocks?

The DT3000s are a much better choice. The DT8000 Prerunner shocks are quite a bit stiffer and just don't ride as nice... we tried them and really didn't like the ride quality that much.

Re: What shocks?

Glenn even with the YJ's I plan on installing?
Or will I have to run a adjustable shock?
