what is it and what should i do?

k today, while loadin the zuk onto the trailer, i had to gun it. got it up there no problem. Then lil goot says, Jeez you left a black mark on the drive way! at first i thought the tires, but didnt ever hear a squeal. so i looked and it was a big powdery blotch of black.

am i burning that much oil? or is the carb needing a good clean up? i will take a picture of it tomorrow. if its still there. if its not, im sure i can make another hehe. whats it sound like? later

Re: what is it and what should i do?

it could be rubber. I have done burnout's with my zook and not made a sound other than engine noise. It depends on the compound of the tyre mostly as to whether or not you get sound.

if it's dark grey soot it could have come from your exhaust which could mean you are running rich and suffering from carbonisation of the spark plugs. This soot will also be in the end of your tail pipe. check that.

I would put money down that it's rubber though

Goot,
My 1.3 was running really rich like that right before I did the engine swap. It would barf up a big puff of carbon dust like that every morning.

Goot,

My 86 also does that every once in to. It's just black carbon soot,
I guess that what I would call it. It means that your running too rich.
You could maybe clean the carb and try leaning it out.
