My CSC flex PICS.

Well, the new rattle can paint job is only half way done, but I had to get out and see how she flexed. The front shock still had 2 more inches of travel to go.

Re: My CSC flex PICS.

That's some NICE flex! Have you extended your slip-yokes? Or are you just using a spacer?

Re: My CSC flex PICS.

Thanks. I have an Arizone Drivelines sumo front shaft. And a Trail Tough 1" slip yoke on the rear without any spacers. I'm still in the "Testing Phase" of the new suspension.

Re: My CSC flex PICS.

It tilted the pinion down a bit and it was hard to turn the steering wheel, and the front d-shaft vibrated real bad at road speeds. It did however drive perfectly straight down the road. I just added some 4 degree shims to the front axle and it steers much easier now, but does not drive quite as straight. It's a compromise . I am happy with it now. I don't even have a steering stabilizer at the moment. I haven't drove it yet with the shims at fast speeds to see if the d-shaft is still vibrating. Power steering would have helped quite a bit also I bet. Next on the to do list.

Re: My CSC flex PICS.

Here is a pic of the front driveshaft and the driver side spring under full compression as limited by the built in bump stop on the Doetsch tech 8000's shocks. It stops the springs just before my tire contacts my wheelwell. So that worked out good.
