Re: PONY CARB PROBLEM ANY SUGESTIONS!

pressure regulator set at 1/2lbs will solve the problem.
Can also lower the float level below the center by a bit...

I run a Pony Yes the regulator will do the trick. I was in paragon this weekend, It never evan burped
off camber nose down you name it. set it to 1/2 lb on the trail and 2 or so on the road.

Drifting from the original question but do you need to have a regulator with the pony? Thanks. Jim

Re: PONY CARB PROBLEM ANY SUGESTIONS!

For off-road use yes you should add one. For on-road use
no it's not really needed. what it does when turned down is
keeps too much fuel from entering the bowl causing the
pony to flood.Esp when going downhill.

Re: PONY CARB PROBLEM ANY SUGESTIONS!

You need to bend the tab On the float just like any other carb. Just check through the sight glass
on the front of the carb, your fuel level should be in the center (On the dot).
