Yankin the doors

Ill prolly remove my doors for the summer and leave the top off and just drive my XJ when it rains.I can just pop the hinge pins to pull the doors,right?

It will tell you everything you need to know. I did my doors last summer and have loved it. Once you do this you can take the doors on and off in minutes so you can still drive it in the rain.

You cant remove the hinge pins without drilling them out. What you should do is take a dremel or air cutting tool, and modify the hinges, its really easy andwhen its done a door comes off in less than 5 seconds. That is if you have done somthing to your door straps, like make some door straps with buckles or somthing. thats what i did.
Theres articles all over the place for modifying your hinges.. im sure youll love it when your doors are off.

I just took the screws out. I don't like the idea of cut hinges. I don't know why I dont, I just don't...

If you remove the screws save yourself some dents and drill the heads off. If you do it correctly you can pultt eh screw shafts out once you take the door off. I'll explain more if you are interested enough to email me.

i did mine last sunday with me my dremmell and 4 or 5 cut off disks and about 45 mins ....
