k i was looking under the zuk today, and saw the steering Knuckle? where wheel turns.cant remember what its called if its not a knuckle. i was wondering what to put in there so that its not dry, man i am at a real lose for words right now! cant think! maybe i cant try to put some grease in there and if i can how? i think on top it had some sorta plaque or something.

I have just the opposite problem...mine is leaking fluid at a pretty good clip. What bodes for the steering box? Are these "refillable" or does it have to be replaced?

Yall talking the oil seals on the sterring knuckles or the steering gear?

Mudslide I think he is talking about the Birfields. If you are yes they need to be lubricated. Get a Haynes manual and it will set you through the process of tearing down the front drive assembly. It is actually pretty easy except for that damn axle clip!

lube the birfields with moly-graphite grease I know that is what the toyota guys use on their birfields. and if you are losing gear oil out through the knuckle you need to replace the axle shaft seal that is behind the birfield.
