looking for cheap shocks

Looking for suggestions for a cheap shock that is 2"longer than the stock samurai shock to accomodate 2" of lift. I got a set of stock front Tenneco/Monroe shocks this weekend (PN 20723) for $10.99 ea., they are 10" compressed & 15.75" extended. Had to get them because one of the old shocks was broken & couldn't find what I really wanted. Any help with a 2" longer shock would be appreciated.

If you look back thru the old posts, I put up the numbers for the NAPA shocks for the 2" S/R. They are lightly valved and and cheap.

Re: looking for cheap shocks

I put chevette shocks on the front ofmy zuk yesterday with a droped bracket on the spring plate. THey give me lots of flex while my drive shaft doesnt fall apart. This is with SPOA, rear springs up front and expander shackles. I dont get all the flex i can have but its fine for now. With the dropped brackets the 33's tuck up nicley in the fenders

Andy,

Front: NAPA Part #33097
Rear: NAPA Part #31000

These work well for 2" of lift. Cheap too!
Glad to be of help.

Re: looking for cheap shocks

DO NOT USE GABRIEL GAS or RED RIDER.

I have used both and hate both of them. Everyone I speak to tells me to stay away from them along with the RS5000.

just my 2c worth
