I think we need a new BBS

They created a FOR SALE bbs to keep ads off the bbs's. I think we need one for complaints/compliments/opinions on vendors. I know that it would more than likely be a trashtalking thing unless someone regulated what was posted but i think it would help keep the "nonsense" posts off the other bbs's.

We currently have a long thread (war of words) going due "bad service" from a certain company. This would have been avoided if a bbs was set up for opinions on vendors.

I originally started this post being a smartass but the more i think about it, the more i like the idea.

What do ya'll think.

Re: I think we need a new BBS

Well I wouldnt bother going to a BBS that was just about praising or complaining about vendors. If it's Suzuki related it should be here whether it gets everyone riled up or not.

I agree with lojones. I only read the Suki board and don't bother with the rest.

A good cuss fight doesn't bother me. :-)

Re: I think we need a new BBS

It's not a bad idea Will, but I got to go with Lonny on this one. I would prefer we keep our problems "in house". What I WOULD like to see is a site independant of ORC altogether where folks could go to vent their displeasure with vendors. I'm sure clear patterns would appear about certain vendors and our "dirty laundry" would not be so readily available to our neighbors. Every vendor screws up once in awhile but.............Just my opinion.

There are two ways to go about your anger, 1) post it here like everyone else does, or 2) E-mail the person that you are MAD with and talk to them off-line! That is just my .02!~

It's best that it stays here. If you don't like reading about it, don't click on that certain post. We're all grown-ups here and I think we should be mature enough to choose what we want and don't want to read.

Re: I think we need a new BBS

I would like to see a seperate BBS that is Zuk specific. Have different catagories such as
General questions about Zuks, drivetrain, Modifications, Towing,Parts for sale, even a War Room for the flaming posts, etc-- just off the top of my head.
Get Zuk related vendors advertisements, club memberships, bumper stickers, t-shirts etc
Works for the dodge/ford/chevy diesel sights, someone with the time/experience to create a Zuk sight might do well at it.Hell I would join.
Not that I dont like the ORC BBS, lot of good advice/ people here.

87 Samurai- 5.12's locked up,4340 front,hybrid rear,4.16's,P/S.,Toy. carb.,DT header, 33's, 2" exhaust and Durabak inside and out.
92 Samurai- Its next!!!

Zookin- a family affair
