motor swap questions

I am considering buying my first suzuki, an 88 samurai, I'm wondering how hard it is too come by adapters for motor to tranny OR tranny to transfer case?

I'm thinking a small V6 from ford or chevy??

any input will be greatly appreciated.
scott

Re: motor swap questions

i have a small ford v6 in mine. i am using the stock tcase and axles. it is a cheap and somewhat easy swap. dosn't have near the power that the bigger chevy v6 motors have though, but it is a really nice fit without any complications.

Re: motor swap questions

zukibro, how did you mate the v6 to the zuki tranny?
or did you use the ford tranny also? and if you used the ford tranny, how did you get it mated to the zuki transfer case?

thanks for the replies
