Re: YOUR CHOICE

How about Green metallic. My 87 S-10 was painted this colour . I think the Dupont # is 77.

Re: YOUR CHOICE

I'm planning on having mine painted once the summer is over (I just got it and need to get it trail ready but don't want to have it down in the summer). My current color choice is Tonka yellow. That's assuming I'm actually motivated enough to completely paint it. Right now it's a crappy faded candy apple red directly over the factory white. Painting it white again would be easy because they didn't do a complete job painting it. They missed some spots (like under the chrome body trim, the lazy @!*%*#s).

On something this small, I kind of like the idea of going with a bright paint job simply for the fact that it makes you more visible on the road.

Re: YOUR CHOICE

<font color=blue> I like blue, a darker blue would be nice. Or a gun metal grey.

Re: YOUR CHOICE

Hey Rick : I like the color of your S10 truck. Why not have a matched pair.

Re: YOUR CHOICE

I'm partial to Tai tiger stripe....like the original (SF)pattern used in Nam, not the commercial version. There were something like 13 variants of this pattern.

Zebra stripe would look really cool. Then we would have to call you Daktari.

Creator, everything we do leaves a track. May our tracks be ones we would want you to see and others to follow......

Re: YOUR CHOICE

Rick,

Do you have a picture of the sami in question. I like the sounds of gunmetal grey, but sumthin bright would be cool also. I saw a sami one time that was painted barbie pink. It even had Barbie stickers where samurai was supposed to be. Dont do that whatever you do. I had a Travelall that was a faded seafoam green color. Ugly as hell but damn was it noticeable. A nice blue mettallic like ford used to use would be nice also.

I myself am gonna paint mine back the factory black and then flame it.

Jus my .02 worth

Re: YOUR CHOICE

I like Tim's idea... paint it to match your S-10. Or... leave it white and put more dents in it. That's my plan for my Zuk.... spend money repairing/upgrading the drivetrain and forget making it look pretty!
