what weight tranny oil?

Hi,

what weight tranny oil does the sami require? ... any recomendations? ... i want to go synth.

gm synchromesh it stops the syncro s better than gear oil even syn gear oil. if the synco's are good go with the syn gear oil see ya quent

88 zuki,s/r,header,1600,locked in the rear and weber carb. with mitsu seats and 2"inch pipe
87 zuk spoa (new project)

Alfred: I run Mobil 1 75w-90, GL-5 synthetic in both diff, t-case & tranny of my '86 hardtop. It's expensive but I like it. It is especially good if you live in a cold climate.

Thanks folks,

i run Mobile1 in the engine, an the lil popper loves it.. Didn´t know that there is a tranny-weight mobile1 out there...

got to go out shopping again ;o)

ps: how much oil does the transfer and tranny hold?

I am not sure but I believe dry capacity is 6 qts. But you can never get it all out. I used 5 qts, I think, when I changed over a couple of weeks ago.
