winch help

i'm about ready to put a winch on my zuk again--used to have a warn 4500 but sold it. don't want to spend a ton of money so i'm considering the harbor freight chicago electric 8000 lb , the ramsey 5000lb that harbor freight sells, & the superwinch s4500 & s3500 & the warn 3500. any input would be appreciated--would also consider used ! thanks in advance!

Re: winch help

I burned up my Ramsey 5000 lb. winch on a long pull. I f you are going to use your winch hard I'd suggest an 8000 lb. model.
I also recommend Warn over Ramsey since their customer service is a little better. More money but you get what you pay for.
