cowl, windshield, bedliners et,, Done!

Hi guys. You have been sending me ideas on what stuff to make out of aluminum. So to bring you guys up to
speed; The two style of cowl covers are done, windshield cap cover is on the drawing boards for early next week
(for those who take off the windshield), Door hinge program has been started, Full aluminum door and tailgate skins are done and the solid bed liner is being looked at. If you want to see most of the stuff send me a line at;

What about the corner section at the base of the windshield, right above the door hinges and right behind the hood. Anything on the boards for that? Mine are beginning to rust BADLY.

I have the identical problem. Deep rust holes, and the only rust other than very mild surface stuff. What causes it and how to fix it, anyone?

Are you talking about the area that has the intake for the heater? There is a cowl cover, but are you looking
to cover all the way across?? Check out this site and look under cowl covers. members.tripod.com/roguesuzuki/index.htm or send me a personal e-mail at [email protected] and I will
send a quick link back to you. This BB will not let me put a link on the page... thx
Mark

Re: rust

You could cover it with the aluminum and leave it shiny or paint. Then you won't have the rusting prob. Can
someone send a pic?? of the rust that is... Mark

No, I'm talking about the area to the extreme outside of the cowl area. It is actually separated by a joint line. It transitions by starting about 4" from the edge of the hood and then making a 90 degree bend down for about 4".
