i\'m an idiot

First i was dumb enough to take my transfer case apart(GRSII), a bearing went bad and i had to get the bearings out. So i went to put it back together and can't figure out which way the damn stick goes in. 4wd engages and disengages but high and low aren't going in and out. Sometimes i amaze myself with my mechanical skills and times like this i wish i didn't know what a wrench was. Just letting everyone know that when you take something apart, never trust your memory, cause when you least expect it, it's gonna fail, takes notes or pictures. I speak from experience, hopefully i'll fix it. Marc

Re: i\'m an idiot

My recommendation is to call Petroworks (this is their tech line: 760-731-9434) and have them see if they can help you out. Otherwise, the factory service manual is the source for all info you'd need. I know what a pain in the neck reassembling those shifters can be. If I tried to explain it to you, I'd probably wind up goofing you up worse than you are now.
