Re: Cage ideas

Very nice Bill. I saved the pics. Will be starting on my cage soon, and I like the way that you bent the spreader bars to give you some more precious headroom.

Hmmmmm....ideas. Think'n, think'n.

Re: Cage ideas

Bill. That is BAD ASS! Did you make that your self? What size pipe did you use, how meny feet did you end up having to use? Can you still use your targa bar and full soft top? I'm sorry for so many questions, I'm about to have someone do mine for me and now I like yours better then what I had in mind! Looks great, you did a nice job!

Re: Cage ideas

Thanks Tim I'm 6'3" so more head room is a plus!
Brain Yep! did it myself, Most of it is 1 3/4"OD .120 wall and the Door/dash/bottom rear spreaders are 1 1/4OD .095 wall.

Re: Cage ideas

Oh yea, I forgot you other???? Yes the stock targa and soft top still fit. I used the stock main hoop but cut about a 1/4" off the bottom so the spreaders would fit in the middle of the hoop and still let the targa fit.

Re: Cage ideas

Thanks and sorry, I'm moving in a month down to Oceanside/Vista area, and probably won't have access to a bender....at first.. But we can hook up and do other stuff when I come down.
Oh It is bolted down and will be tied to the frame at a later date.... hopefully before the BigBear bash!

Re: Cage ideas

Woo hoo, cant wait till you get down here. It'll be great meeting someone from the board. I was really sorry that I missed you when you went on that Snow Run w/ the other Gadzuks guys. Anyway, look forward to meeting you. When do you expect to be moving?
