Re: Zuk In The Box

Wouldn't that be cool to show at a trail ride with?!? Imagine...no need for a trailer. I almost fit my first Sami into the bed of a Ford F350 but backed out before I got it fully in. I was afraid something would happen to damage my Sami or my friend's F350.

Thats a cool pic, I've always thought of doing something like that, but I don't think I can now with the TOy axles and 16" wide Boggers!

Re: Zuk In The Box

hey thats my truck!

A friend of mine picked up the LJ 80 for a good price with no motor. Two of us could pick the front end up!

He's putting all toyota running gear under it as his toy PU ran good but the frame rusted right through.

You can see more on http://www.island4x4.com go to the bbs and look under beerzuki.

Oh it was a pretty easy loading job. Would have been easier if we had the keays to unlock the steering!

Re: Zuk In The Box

Hmmm.. well im trying to figure out a way to get the Zuk i found home, i dont have access to a flatbed or trailer.. at least one that is big enough, u think if i took the frame, body and everything else, and the axles and tires seperately that an 86 would fit in the back of a shortbed fullsize chevy?

Re: Zuk In The Box

I rented a uhaul and loaded it in the back of one of them. there cheap it was like 50 bucks for the whole day. I also used it again when I blew my clutch and had to get the zook back to Chicago from my school so my mechanic could fix it and it was 70 mls away. she fit with 33's and lift. just don't tell them that you plan on loading a car in it cause then they'l make you rent a trailer

Driving off-road needs to be done well, like throwing a fly at a rising trout in dark, calm waters. Take pride in the task, and the reward is more than the destination.
