\'86 Samurai Does not run..WAH!!

Hey All, After 100k + miles finally had to have the head rebuilt. the exhaust vale on #3 cyl Smashed down at the keeper. Well, I put it all back together, fired it up, it ran nice and quiet for about 10-15 minutes, I wanted to warm it up to set the timing with the timing light. well, It quit before I could finish hooking up, so I started it again, fired right up. then quit about 2 minutes after that. has not started since. It has spark, I checked the cam timing, manually added fuel, thinking carb or fuel pump problems, changed spark plugs in cause they were fouled, nothing. so here I am scratching my head... any Ideas or help would be apprieciated.

Did you happen to install a new cam and not new rocker arms? Possible wiped the lobes on the cam? Do a compression check, and also pull the valve cover and spin the motor just to see if the little thingys are going up and down. When you installed the head, if the head gasket was upside down (it happens) you would have starved the cam of oil, and after 15 - 20 minutes, might not be too much left. If it did, you know have a motor full of metal floating around in the oil.
