VOM & O2 sensor

Has anyone any experience in using a VOM (volt ohm meter) with the O2 sensor. It sounds like it would be a precise method of adjusting a carb. 0 volts = lean, 1. volt = rich... .5 volts is the sweet spot. Any thoughts on this?

Re: VOM & O2 sensor

hey, i remember a kit to do just that from my vw days. You install an o2 sensor and it had a l.e.d. readout in a small handheld box about the size of a pack of cigarettes. the vom test you described will work also seeing that you have a good o2!

no rig yet, experimenting with everybody elses
