just a thought????

hey i beensitting here thinking i know where a little dodge d-50 is with a little mitsubishi motor and can get it cheap runs good i wonder if it would sit down in a zuki i know the are strong motors for there size just a though on engine swaps is all oh its also a 2.6l more horses maybe it will be a good swap

get out the measuring tape and measure the overall legnth of engine and tranny and keep us posted.

If this mitsu 2.6l is simular to the ones in the FWD vans I would stay away from them. They have bad timing chains and if they break then you'll be lookin' for a new motor fast (bent valves and holes in the pistons)I found this by personal experiance.

Yeah, we had the same problem in a Mitsubishi Galant.. timing belt breaks and everything starts running into each other... it was new engine time on that thing, but it wasnt worth it so it got junked.
