My shocks suck!

I have the cheapest pro comp shocks pennies can buy. I just wanted to get them under my scoot until I was finished with it. Although I'll never be finished. I've already blown both rears! What's the best shock for me?
5.5 SPOA 2.5"springs. 32x11.50x15's? Money's no object.
I owe GW an apology..He tried to warn me.
Sorry bro.. You were right.

Re: My shocks suck!

I recently installed Doetsche Tech shocks that Tim from North Coast Offroad set me up with. I love them! I previously had Rancho 5000's and they were WAY TOO STIFF! Additionaly, they might have been a bit too short despite the fact that my lift fell within the paramaters of the shock application. End result....2 sets of blown (Rancho)shocks. The DT shocks really tamed the ride yet retained control. I wish I had installed them sooner. Hope this helps....

Re: My shocks suck!

I also had RS5000s and they were very stiff and like Crowhorse, when I installed my National Springs I went to the DT-3000s which I am very pleased with........I would recommend them highly.

Re: My shocks suck!

Can the DT3000's be installed upside down?

Re: My shocks suck!

Does DT make a shock with the same dimensions as the rancho 9012? (about 18 compressed 36 extended)
