Re: anyone heard of a suzuki gti?

looks like now eh?
well, it is a swift(metro) with a 100hp dohc 16v 1.3.
i thought this was interesting and perhaps useful for those looking to really open up their sami's 1.3. However they are pretty rare here in the U.S. A guy i know who is a dj at a local rock station owns one, pretty cool little car

Re: anyone heard of a suzuki gti?

The Suzuki Swift GT/GTi was sold from 89-94, and it was one hot little car! This is the car from which I took the bottom end and put a modified Samurai head on to make a 1.6-eating motor. Forged and balanced crank and rods, 10.5:1 pistons, high pressure oil pump. It's a 100hp DOHC 16-valve 1298cc race version of the Samurai's 1.3 liter engine. I take mine past 8000rpm on a regular basis, and it doesn't bat an eyelash.

Re: anyone heard of a suzuki gti?

the seats are kick butt in a Zook, and the bottom end of the motor is great in there too!
