1990 Zuk donkey swap

Bonjour tout le monde, hello everyone.
I'm a newcomer here, my first question is, has anyone first hand experience of the Zuk GTI 1300cc motor in a Samurai?
I know it fits, but how does it work off road?
Thanks, Alfie

You may want to talk with Geoff Beasley (Zukiman). If my memory serves me, he has the GTI block with a samurai head. I know he digs it and has more power than an 8 valve 1.6.

Re: 1990 Zuk donkey swap

I have a swift gti block and head with varius perf. mods. seems to be more powerful than a stock 1.3 ESPECIALLY at high rpm's. Worth the time I think.
