93 GEO Tracker ANTI-Theft Radio

Don't have any problem yet with the radio, however I have heard that the computer can fail to recognize it and then it won't work until you go to the dealer and have him reset the code in the computer (read dollars). Is there anyway to do this your self? Hate paying a dealer for anything I don't have to. I know the mechanics need the money, but I just prefer do my own thing.

Never heard of that. My Honda van has one of those "theft proof" radios. Radio has a code so when the radio is disconnected you have to know the code to get it to work once it is reconnected.
