Drivers side Door Handle Needed!!

The last few months have been cold here in N.C. and when it was in the 20's one night I went to open the door and broke the damn handle (the outside handle)! I've been to all the Junk Yards here to try to get one and all the driver side handles are gone! Or the plastic piece is broke off also! Does any Suzuki Vendors sale a better handle for the outside? Thanks!

Re: Drivers side Door Handle Needed!!

Im pretty sure petroworks has one or has one coming out. That has got to be the weakest part on the whole rig!

Thanks, I'll give them a call and ask. I also think it is the weakest part on the whole rig, on my other Zuk both door handles are broken, all in the same place. Someone has to make a beefy one, I'm sure they will sale like hot cakes!

Brian, I don't believe anyone sells a "better" outside door handle unfortunately. You might also try Hawk or Trail Tough for stock replacements if the vendors mentioned by the others does not bear fruit.

Re: Drivers side Door Handle Needed!!

Both door handles were toast when I got my 87. Being the cheapest bastad on this board , I just dont go paying $25 plus for a handle - specially for that piss poor design. I just took 'm off & replaced the broken plastic part w/metal . Then I adjusted the latch to where it would pop open w/just a lite touch. So far - so good .
PS : Actually I "splinted" the broken little curved plastic piece
w/metal .
