exhaust

I need to change my muffler,I want an inexpensive muffler that flows well and sounds good, but not extremly loud.I am thinking about a cherry bomb turbo or a cherry bomb glass pack.Has anyone used ether of these mufflers?

Re: exhaust

I would guess the glass packs would be pretty loud on the Samurai. Don't know for sure. The glass packs were always considered to have higher back pressure than the turbos. I had Cherry Bomb glass packs on my '57 Belaire in the '60s and it was not legal. Of course that was a long time ago. They may have changed the specs on them.

Re: exhaust

I install turbo mufflers (not a glass packs) on everything I own. I buy them at Autozone and they are usually about $14.95. They are not the glass pack type mufflers, just a regular muffler shape with a deep mellow tone. You only need to know your inlet and outlet diameter and they can hook you up.
