Yes it will fit! I had 235X75X15's on with no lift and did good!

You can fit 235's just fine with a little bit of bumber trimming.

Re: tire size w/1\" lift ??

I'f you have added 2" longer shackles to get that 1" lift you can extend the other spring hanger 2" and get a full 2" of lift and this will correct the front end geometry also.you could also put 31's under it.

Re: tire size w/1\" lift ??

Crow, I would say that 225's would fit well with 1" of lift. You could jam some 235s on there possibly, but you would have to expect rubbing and grinding on the tires when you got flexed up off road.

The key is what defines "fit". We've seen 235s jammed in on a stock suspension, one of the stupidest things I ever saw. Did they fit? No way. Did the guy run them? He sure did. And he told everyone they "fit" great. All interpretation.

Re: tire size w/1\" lift ??

I had 235X75X15's on for a while with no lift and I didn't have any tire rub with the body! I don't live out in the West where you can craw over rocks and flex your Zuk all the way to its max, but I did flex the suspension up a bit with no problem in Ohio! Again, that was when I didn't know much about 4wheeling and the Zuks them self's, but I did know that it didn't cause any problems. Maybe the guy I got the Zuk from had a shackle lift on it, I can't remember. I guess its where you 4wheel at and what you want it to do.

Re: tire size w/1\" lift ??

Theres a bone stock sami sittin on a car lot here in town. Its got 31x10.50's on stock rims on it. the tires fit great on the outside and inside of the fender, BUT, the middle of the tire has a good 1/4" groove in it. I myself have 215/75/15's cooper stt's on my stock sami. They WILL NOT under any circumstances touch the body or frame or springs. I checked out coopers website and i believe they said that the 215's equaled out to a 27" tire.

Re: tire size w/1\" lift ??

It depends a lot on the ACTUAL diameter of the tire and not that much on the numbers on the sidewall. I have run 225 75 15 All Terrains with longer shackles with no problems rubbing on or offroad. If you want the 235 for the width, a 235 70 15 is pretty close to the same diameter as a 225 75. The width of the 235 is fine, its the diameter that causes rubbing on some rigs. You can see from the photo of my '87 taken last spring with 225 75 Cooper Discoverer A/Ts and longer shackles that there is plenty of clearance at the front bumper mount, which is the closest clearance point with a stock bumper.

Re: tire size w/1\" lift ??

I'm running 235's which are 30 1/2" tall, with a 1" shackle lift, with no problems-so far. That is to say, only street driven, with no full stuff off road as yet. Have hit some pretty steep road bumps and speed bumps, with no contact.
