Cool Steel loop things?

[b]<font color=blue> Where do I get those cool little tow loops that I see hanging out of all the cool rigs 2" recievers. They're silver, and about 1/2 inch thick. Looks like they slide into the reciever.
I haven't been able to find them anywhere?
Thanks,

Re: Cool Steel loop things?

If I'm reading you right, it's a clevis-pin shackle on a piece of 2" hitch. Steel Horse make them, around $35. Cool...

Cheaper just to go and get a clevis from a farm supply store, and a chunk of 2x2x1/4" steel tube, a few holes and its done. Warn sells nice ones, probably not cheep tho.

A decent sized Clevis can be found for about $15. I can get stuff up here, like a clevis with a 12" inside diameter and 1.5" diameter steel, they use them on boats, but a little too large for our stuff. Anton is right, save some bucks and make your own, probably cost $20 completed.

Warn also makes a receiver mounted clevis setup. We've been using the Warns for years and they're certainly the BEEF. Any place that sell Warn equipment should have these on hand.
