Flare swap, etc...

Okay, okay...since it's Thanksgiving I thought I would finally let you guys see PROOF that I actually do have a Zuki... Anyway, I got a digital camera yesterday and went out to the shop to play in the middle of the night.

The question about a flare swap is this: my wheelwells are typically (for the NE) rusty, and I'm thinking of going to TJ flares or similar. Any thoughts, and can anybody refer me a link to see some on a Zuki? I have seen one Zuki with them...

Anyway, any input would be nice. I may just remove my factory jobs and clean out all the rust underneath...but it looks to me that to really do it right I'll need to do some cutting

Thanks

Re: Flare swap, etc...

I took my flares off. I also took off that stupid plastic stuff on the rockers. When i took them off i took everything off, all the metal mounts and everything. Its just spot welded on. I used a drill and drilled out the spot welds. I really like the way it looks. Hope this helps.

Re: Flare swap, etc...

By the way...the reason there is no pic is because the file is too large for off-road.com to allow me to upload it. The new camera is 2.1 megapixel and it takes LARGE pics (smallest so far about 384k) so it violates the file size limit. I should have a working webpage up before the end of the day, though...so do NOT despair.
