Re: pic of RODNEE\'s portable winch / bumper

Thanks Alfred for posting the pics..

I know a few folks wanted to see the portable winch set-up I built on the RRO F&R bumpers.

The entire application was a bolt on, no welding was done here..

This is a Ramsey 9k winch with: Tow Truck Jumper Disconnect Cables / Hidden Hitch Cradle Mount / Dual 950 cca batteries / 105 amp GM alternator / 500 amp isolator / 12' remote / A locking hitch pin keeps it where it belongs / And a Broken Budget is the end result.
I plan to install a vertical winch plate inside the rear seat area to keep the winch dry and secure while not in use.

The approach & departure angles are great. I haven't touched down yet. And the added weight up front really helps stability on the steep inclines.

Re: pic of RODNEE\'s portable winch / bumper

Will,
Here's a rough list. First of all, the basic Sammy is a 95 with only 40k orig local miles. It was garaged and MINT MINT to start with. Gave it a major going over including valve adjustment, brakes tune-up and replacing all the fluids Etc.
So far I have installed:
Calmini 5" shackle reversal SPUA,
AR aluminum wheels
235/75 Sport Kings ( temporary he he he )
HD Steering Stabilizer
Full Body Armor underneath ( F & R Diff's & X-fer Case )
Smittybuilt Nerf bars
RRO Front & Rear Bumpers w/ "d" rinds & 2"receivers
GM 105 amp alternator
500 amp Isolator
Dual 950cca batteries
4 100w hella off-road lights
2 100/150 w hella headlamps
New Bestop top
Full ABS panel interior, with Grey (Dodge Neon Seats very comfy )
Kicker Sony Removable stereo
6 Point Petroworks rollcage

The driveline is bone stock right now and runs great.

Slated for installation:
Transfer Case Gear Reduction Kit ( I have it, just need to install it)
32"Dick Cepek tires
Disc type E-brake
Lockers ( I can't decide which to go with, a clutch type posi third member or locker gears, as I want to keep it streetable ).

1600cc 16 valve with power steering ( Now, I just have to find a donor vehicle .. I've finally decided against installing the VORTEC V-6 conversion ).
It rides & handles great with the lift kit.

This Zook turns heads everywhere. Wanna buy it??

later, rodnee
