2nd place at ramp contest

I won 2nd place today at the colorado 4x4 expo only behind my friends totally custimized CJ7 with coils all the way around! Scored a 880 on a 30deg ramp, the CJ scored 990, the next one down was a rock buggy custom built at 870ish. Just thought it was cool!! will post some picts soon.

Re: 2nd place at ramp contest

At the moment I have SPOA, M/L, extended drivelines, factory rears up front and factory CJ's in rear. Only run this for half a year like this, and love it. Will soon swap out rear susp for 3link Quarter Eliptic (poss SpiderTrax, or homemade). Will Leave the front alone because I think it's better than coils for now. Will find out when rear is done.
I removed a shackle reversal for this setup and am NOT regreting it yet, even though the S/R is a Quality, Bolt-on and forget, Suspension kit.
I went from 18" of articulation to my best of 38", I did not have all my trail gear in when I ramped on Sat so I lost some, I think Vert measure was 37" this weekend. Still awsome and very stable on and off-road.
And my Claim to my friends CJ that beat me!-- I dont need a sway bar, He does or he will roll over on the street cause he is so soft sprung!!---- AND they classified him as a buggie and me as a daily driver!!!! HA! Who says J***s are better!

Re: 2nd place at ramp contest

Nice pic, good to see that nice flex up. I to have your same set up and love it, but like you im changing it because im obbsessed with the flex. Its going to be a total custom spring package front and rear so we shall see how it pans out. Like your rig rockcrawler!
