Re: IDLE SPEED-WORDS O WISDOM??

check how tight the throttle cable is where it attaches to the carb, make it loose.

throttle cable must have slack, for body frame movement. all adjust is at carb.

build it, break it, then build it better.

Look for a vacuum leak.. You may have air entering the intake from somewhere else. Use soapy water in a spray bottle, it is not flammable and works good.

Or put carb cleaner or propane on the hoses, if the idole goes up theres a leak

Re: IDLE SPEED-WORDS O WISDOM??

Go with zooky, The switch is located near the front of the engine and on top. Mine failed and did the same thing. I unplugged it and it works fine now. A benefit you can idle nice and slow even if you have the ligts or AC on.
