Victim of a wobbly shifter!

I do beleave that i am a victim of a WOBBLY shifter. I took it apart to inspect it, and i was wondering, what exactly, and where , is the bolt that you replace? Also , do i have to order one from calmini or petroworks, or does something else work?

Re: Victim of a wobbly shifter!

How much did you take apart? I bought a shifter bolt from Hawk, seems like it was about 2 or 3 bucks. Be careful pulling out the bolt. If it is broken in half it could fall in the tranny. The bolt is facing the t-case shifter, you can't miss it.

Re: Victim of a wobbly shifter!

I have seen a "replacement bolt" advertised for (I think) about $2.00 plus shipping and handling. I went to the hardware store and bough an 8mm s/s bolt which fixed the problem for $0.25. This is the bolt behind the shifter that runs parallel to the ground. Good luck!!
