Since neither of my Samurais came with a tachometer, what have people used such as brand and where do you mount the thing? Thanks

Re: tach

I used a tach I got at Pepboys, I don't remember the make right now, I mounted it in the space where the clock is normally on the 87. I had to open up the hole some but it pushed right in.

Re: tach

get a cluster that has the factory tach in it at a junkyard, it goes right in, the wiring is already installed and you dont have to find an area to mount it

Re: tach

The suggestion to go with a factory tach dash cluster seems like a good one. Anybody got one that they want to sell? Thanks.

Re: tach

I got my from pepboys it's a sunpro I think. It's a lighted led where it long and fits perfect right above my shifter. I've had it for over 8 yrs. Jeff
